Going Ahead With Writing

by Danise B. Keasda

Like any other type of art, writing is rewarding in and of itself, just as much as is composing and playing music, painting or sculpture. Like producing a beautiful object in any other medium, writing something which is a good piece of work is very rewarding to the writer. Even better, the writer can share their work with others and communicate something of themselves to others. Whatever you write: story, poem, essay or article, writing is an activity which can boast of many benefits. Here are a few of the benefits of writing:

1. Independent thinking. If you think about it, writing requires you to think. You have to think about a topic to write about, how you are going to write it, what words you want to use, what types of sentences will fit best and the overall message that you are trying to give off in your writing. When writing, no matter how old or young you are, you have to have a clear path for you to think on. To write, you have to be able to understand what is around you as well as understand yourself.

2. Self expression. Writing is a great way to express feelings, problems and anything that we want to get off our chests and onto paper. It is much easier to express things on paper (for some) than it is to say by mouth. Writing is another way to communicate with others, especially in situations that may be frustrating, embarrassing or just too hard to talk about face to face. Writing allows everyone to free themselves from any hardships that may be occurring.

3. Writing is a great confidence builder. One of the biggest benefits of writing is that it can increase self confidence and self esteem in the writer. Writing tends to be an activity engaged in by oneself – but can be helpful in boosting confidence by allowing the writer to create something worthwhile which they can point to with a sense of accomplishment. As a writer progresses, they learn that they can indeed express themselves and be understood by others. Children who have problems with self confidence especially can benefit from writing.

4. Building speaking as well as reading skills. In order to become or be a good writer, you have to know how to speak and how to read. Someone with good writing skills is able to help others to learn how to speak better. Others are able to find themselves in the writer and then express themselves through that.

5. Health benefits. Believe it or no, writing even has health benefits. Writing is something which can be a coping strategy for the writer, allowing them to deal with stress. Fiction writers especially are able to put their own experiences on the page and work through them in this way. Writing can also be a good way to present and preserve memories.

No matter what you decide to write, after you are done, you will feel rewarded knowing that you are able to express yourself. Once you share your writing, you are able to show others what you have to say and what you feel about things.

The Real Secret To Getting Traffic With Article Marketing

by Theo McLanahan

You can help boost traffic to your website by marketing with articles. All that this means is submitting articles that you have written to online article reprint directories.

As you know, having fresh content on your website and blog is key when it comes to getting search engine traffic. Many website owners and bloggers visit article reprint directories on a daily basis, in search of articles to use on their sites.

Articles that you submit to online reprint directories can be used for free by individuals who post them to their website or blog. Even though this does not earn you any money directly, the people who use your articles are required to add a box at the end of their post with information about the author. The information contained within this box is yours to write, so make sure to put in a link to your website and mention products and services available there.

Your information, including a link to your website, will thus be presented to anyone who reads your article. Depending on which bloggers and website owners choose to use your articles, you may be exposing yourself to hundreds, thousands, or even millions of potential customers. That could lead to lots of clicks to your website’s link.

A Google search for ‘free reprint article directories’ will yield a large number of websites that you can use. There are general directories and other more specific ones where all the articles they offer are written on a specific topic, such as health or food.

You don’t have to limit yourself to just one directory; feel free to submit your writing to as many as you wish. If you prefer, software is available that will submit articles for you.

Since you could write about literally anything, take the theme of your website into consideration when deciding what your articles should be about. Make your articles appealing to the people that you want to visit your website.

Someone who sells Tupperware for instance, could easily write about food related items or take it a step further an write an article about the fact that the plastic containers are great for organizing toys, bathroom items or even nuts and bolts in the garage.

A Breakdown Of The Article Marketing Strategy

by Don Bethune

aArticle marketinga. A foreign concept to you? Maybe. But chances are that you have watched it being used. It is nothing new and has, in fact, been employed for many years in established mediums such as newspapers and magazines. It is even possible that the age of this concept rivals that of mass printing.

So what is article marketing? It is usually defined as a form of marketing where a business makes an article available for use free of charge, hoping to increase their market. While the article may not specifically mention the business itself, it may mention favorably a service that the business provides.

If they possess a certain level of quality, these free articles will be used by the publishers for it translates to money being saved through the lack of a need to pay article writers to fill their page space. Since the newspaper or magazine as well as the article providing business both save on costs, a win-win situation has been created.

Whether it employed in print mediums or on the internet, the concept of article marketing stays the same. It can be used to an equally high standard with e-commerce and web publishing, and with this fresh opportunity, its uses have thus broadened. Additionally, a focal point and chief motivation of businesses is free website traffic.

Through the existence of the internet, search engine optimization has been another dimension added to article marketing. The website traffic of a business can improve dramatically just by having articles targeted to certain keywords. Readers will be attracted by a well constructed article pertaining to a popular issue and more readers usually translate to a higher profit on the internet.

The lack of any virtual costs is among the key benefits of article marketing for publishing an article is pretty much free, especially on the internet. A strong traffic generation method is to have a large amount of available articles, particularly if the articles all link back to the website of the originator.

Article marketing is also a subcategory of search engine optimization. Distributing articles that link back to a web site can help that site rise in search engine rankings, because many search engines take the number of pages linking to a site into account when presenting results.

So what does this concept mean? It means a strategic form of marketing that has survived many years of trial and error. It presents an effective and significantly low cost alternative to other advertising methods to those who use it. Additionally, with its ability to improve the traffic of websites, applying it to internet businesses and e-commerce seems like a match made in heaven.

How To Write Effective Articles For Promoting A Website

by Theo McLanahan

Trying to figure out how to write more efficient, high quality articles? Youve come to the right place! Article writing can be mastered by anyone, but there are certain requirements. Be determined, devoted, and enthusiastic about learning. Good writing, much like any art or craft, is not a skill anyone is born with. It must be developed through practice. The following tips will assist you in improving your article writing skill.

- Article marketing: This term refers an article writing process for e-zines and directories. These 350-500 word articles should be filled with keywords.

Such articles should include an authors resource box at the end of the article where you can insert some information about yourself. For example, youll want to include your name, some personal information, your real URL, and information on your product.

- Be an expert: You are required to be an expertise in your field of article writing. Reader should be familiar with you and your product prior to his/her visit to your website. This will impose them to purchase your product. Pay per Click traffic has less conversion rate then article marketing traffic.

- Consistency: Consistency is the real key to gain success in article marketing. Article should always contain relevant information.

- Use attractive headlines: Attractive headlines are essential for good articles. A good headline will jump out and catch your readers eye. Boring headlines will cause your articles to be left unread and business will slump until you hit bottom with no subscriptions and no sales.

- Use keywords: Keyword use is the essence of a successful article. Keywords are what control search engine ranks. People search the internet using keywords. Think of which well known keywords fit into your article and then use them, especially in your headline.

- Use short paragraphs: Writing gigantic paragraphs will often cause readers to pass over your articles. Make paragraphs concise and easy to read.

- Use bullet points, sub-headlines, or numbers: These add a nice esthetic touch to your article while simultaneously making it more clear to the reader.

- Resource box: At end of article there will be resource box where you can add your name and URL. So write such information about your product in resource box that can attract your reader. For example, using call action, write “visit us at” etc.

- Write more articles: In order to maintain high traffic on your website, you must write daily. Weekly writing simply wont suffice. Since you will attract more people with more articles, establish reasonable goals for yourself, such as 5 articles a day or 25 articles each week.

All of these great suggestions will help you produce good, quality articles on a consistent basis.
