When giving your character their physical traits make sure to include height, weight, eye color and hair color. Do not put the traits in all at once because it will sound like a list. Slowly add them to the story.

Next you need a personality for your character. Decide if your main character will be shy, outgoing, quite, loud, arrogant, sensitive, intelligent, mean, or nice. The personality of your character will determine the way they react to certain things in the story.
