Well Hello Writers and Want to be Writers
Just a quick editor’s note to get the blog off the ground and add a little content to get things started. Well it is almost a full month a head of schedule but the eWritingPad.com Writer’s Blog is set, other than a few minor template and bug fixes to launch.
We look forward to bringing you in the future information, news and interesting tips on writing and making a future part or fulltime job out of writing. Our site is very geared toward Webmasters and website owners that want to find out how writing can help their websites. Every web owner can benefit by making writing a regular part of his or her business or hobby.
When people ask me what it is I do I answer information publisher and at this point most people get glassy eyed and go well that’s interesting. What is that? To which I reply I’m basically a writer and editor.
The Internet is such a wonderful place to work it offers opportunities that just wouldn’t be there otherwise. My wife and I have been writing for decades and the net offers us the opportunity to share both our work and the work of a talented group of writer’s with you.
It has been such a fun experience over the last week or so and many months of preparation bringing the new look of eWritingPad.com to you. We felt the blog was a perfect addition to the site and a way for us to bring you information in a more timely fashion then in the past.
The site and blog were one of our first totally in-house design projects in a long time and we hope you are as pleased with the design as we are. It keeps some of the old site which was plagued by script and database issues and is a completely hand coded design with the blog being run on the latest version of WP (WordPress).
We will be adding many of our old articles to the main site over the next several weeks and will be getting ride of much of the syndicated articles on the main site in favor of totally unique content. We are working on adding a writing tips section to the article pages and then indexing this so they are accessible to all. We hope you like the way we have structured the site into about a dozen main categories and then added content based on these.
We’ll that’s it for now so much more to do and much more content to add so lets hear from all you writers and Webmasters as to where we take the blog.
