iPhone Email Is Not Only For Businessmen

by Jimmy Benjamin

These days, you will notice that more and more consumers are using iPhones. And not only that, these consumers are not only the people who are into multimedia but also professionals who are deeply involved in the world of business. With known importance of emails among businessmen, it would be very beneficial for them to configure iPhone email accounts so every email will be directed to their mobile phones.

For the average businessman, to be able to access emails is hugely crucial in their success and performance rate. Hence, they would sign up an iPhone email account so that they can receive emails through their mobile phones. To do this, it is important that you have enough knowledge on how to go about setting up the iPhone email account for your mobile phone to successfully receive the mails sent for you.

In setting up your account, you have to set an appropriate email account supported by your computer. For example, iPhone is included in the Mac family therefore it will work well with it. However, this can also work with other computers with installed Outlook application.

The next step is to select the “Mail” option on your mobile phone if it is your first time to set up your account. If you do have an existing account, you would have to choose “Settings” then go to “Mail” option of your mobile phone.

The next thing to do is to tap on “Add Account.” You will be presented with the POP option once tapping on “Add Account.” You would then need to put the details of your account on the fields. You will then be asked for the incoming mail server information, username and account password.

After filling up the information for the incoming mail server, you have to fill out the information on the outgoing mail server. Just like the incoming mail server, it will also ask for your username and password. The account information for the two fields is the same.

Once you are done putting in these information, you now need to tap on the “Advance” tab. This is located under SMTP and it is the tab where you need to turn off the incoming SSL and outgoing SSL. Once you have turned these off, you have already set up the account on your iPhone.

If you are going to set up your iPhone to get iPhone email, you will surely enjoy the benefit of being updated all the time once a new email comes in. Without missing important updates or email notifications about emails, you can prevent client and income loss in your business. With this latest technology, you will surely have a convenient way of accessing your email regardless of your location.
